DavidHutchinsArt News

Happy New Year Everybody.

Its going to be an amazing year for Australia and Australians.

Many people are already being tried and tested with the devestating floods that a wreaking havoc through Queensland and other parts of the country.Time will pass and waters will recede, but many, many folk will have their lives changed because of this astonishing inundation. Everyone at DavidHutchinsArt wishes all those effected the very best of luck as they work through this disaster.

GALLERY GOAL NEXT

OK, so I have just installed 15 paintings at Ku-ring-gai Council Library and acknowledge that most of the patrons will be focussing on books and that getting them to view paintings might be a bit ambitious. A gallery its certainly not, but its a good rehearsal and incentive for getting into a gallery space.

SHORT LIFE, SO MUCH TO SEE EXHIBITION

JANUARY 4 -MARCH 4 2011

Ku-ring-gai Library Gordon

On a more personal note, much has been happening at DavidHutchinsArt. I am very excited to announce that I am exhibiting 15 paintings at Short Life Much To See at the Ku-ring-gai Library, in Gordon NSW. Many of these paintings have already been featured in the site, but there are some new entries as well. I will be exhibiting with Fay Simpson, a wonderful 73 year old artist, who will also be exhibiting 15 original works.¬† Both of us will be exhibiting landscapes¬† as part of the Ku-ring-gai Library’s promotion of local artists.
